An exciting new collaboration for 2020 - Toria Britten from Wildly Beautiful Flowers and Wendy Paul from Organic Blooms invite you to join them on their two day workshop, creating beautiful foam free arrangements and installations, using all British flowers.
Over the last few years Toria and Wendy have worked as a team exploring in depth foam free techniques and mechanics. The Flowers from the Farm exhibit at Chelsea Flower Show , which won a Gold Medal, was totally ‘foam free’ and included some innovative mechanics to create a stunning display.
We will start with a session on colour, texture, composition and design, an important part of any successful arrangement, leading on to an afternoon creating a large urn arrangement using fabulous flowers and a wide variety of foliage from Toria’s and Wendy’s cutting fields.
A beautiful urn will be yours to keep, complete with mechanics to make your own unique arrangement following our demo. Toria and Wendy will talk about the different mechanics you could use and designs, shapes and flower and foliage selection and will support you in finding your own unique style
The following day, the morning will begin with a group session on how to approach designs working without floral foam, Toria and Wendy will share their discoveries, solutions and mechanics for working in a sustainable, practical and successful way.
The group will then all work together, sharing their ideas and creativity to design installations using natural backdrops on the farm, in the orchard, against stone walls, who knows they may even include a vintage tractor!

The workshop will take place in Toria's beautiful rustic barn in the rolling North Somerset countryside, where there will be plenty of opportunities to take photographs of your designs.
The workshop includes all materials and equipment, flowers and foliage, including a beautiful urn to take home, light lunch and refreshments throughout both days.
